At the U of C

The University strives to support all our students, and provides a number of resources for transgendered students. Both the Student Care Center (SCC) and Student Counseling and Resource Services (SCRS) have sensitive professionals with experience serving the health needs of the population. Similarly, the other LGBTQ mentoring, advising, and resource organizations also welcome and support transgendered students.

OpenSource has a discussion group for trans-individuals of all descriptions and their allies.

It seeks to promote a positive self-image for the entire transgender community in the business community, the media, and the general public. It supports legislation which protects the rights of all minorities.

C.G.S. exits to serve its membership by offering safe, semipublic activities for members so that they may meet others with similar interests, build their confidence, perfect their presentation, and help them to become comfortable in the gender role which they prefer.
